Oral Sedation - Nitrous Oxide / Oxygen Sedation (laughing Gas)

Nitrous Oxide (relaxing air) helps you achieve a relaxed state where you are less apprehensive, stress - free, and are able to complete your needed care. Many patients who are apprehensive or fearful can complete their dental care comfortably with the help of nitrous oxide.

General Anesthesia

Dental treatment involving fillings and simple tooth removal can often be carried out using local injections to numb the mouth. Certain clinical situations however, automatically indicate the need for General Anesthesia:

• Multiple carious and abscessed teeth in multiple quadrants in very young children
• Severe facial cellulitis
• Facial trauma 
• Uncooperative patient, who obviously do not understand their condition and their need for treatment.

 
General Anesthesia is necessary for children that are unable by either age or maturity level, to cooperate during dental treatment. It offers the advantageous solutions to meet their dental treatment needs, avoiding useless, stressful and time consuming dental sessions.

One Day Dental Care Solution:

• Cases are done on an outpatient basis at one of our affiliate hospitals.
• Full mouth dental rehabilitation is performed under General Anesthesia.
• A preoperative consultation is necessary at the hospital one day before the dental treatment.
• Most children will be able to go home within two hours ,following the procedure.
